Ms. Galler has been involved in a myriad of business and cultural endeavors during her many years in Washington. She is a successful realtor with Chatel Real Estate. Ms. Galler enjoyed a long career in magazine publishing as an editor, writer and managing editor with publications that include Science News, Smithsonian Magazine, Dossier and The Journal of Defense & Diplomacy. Following her retirement from publishing, she co-founded a Dupont Circle real estate firm and, later, became a Vice President at Abramson Ehrlich Manes, a Washington area marketing and public relations firm. During her tenure there, she spearheaded the company's new business efforts and media relations. Upon the sale of the firm, she founded her antiques and interior design business and currently has a shop in Washington, Va. Ms. Galler currently serves on the boards of the Loudoun Academy of the Arts in Leesburg, Virginia and the DC Jazz Festival.
