Chase Becomes Official Financial Services Partner of Annual DC JazzFest

WASHINGTON, DC (June 6, 2018) – The DC Jazz Festival® (DCJF) today announced that Chase has become a sponsor of the 2018 DC JazzFest presented by Events DC, as the official financial services partner of the 2018 DC JazzFest at The Wharf.
The 2018 DC JazzFest presented by Events DC offers an exceptional array of universally-renowned masters and emerging artists from across the jazz spectrum and beyond, in all four quadrants of the District - 100+ bands, 300 artists, 40+ venues, and 22 neighborhoods.
Leading jazz artists and groups such as Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr;, a new Robert Glasper supergroup, R+R=Now (Robert Glasper, Christian Scott, Terrace Martin and more); and jazz-funk icon Maceo Parker all on one amazing night at The Anthem; and, Cuban piano virtuosos Chucho Valdés & Gonzalo Rubalcaba at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall; Ivan Lins & Friends, Regina Carter, Christian Scott Atunde Adjuah, Ben Williams, Oliver Lake Big Band, Patricia Barber, Frederic Yonnet with Special Guest Maimouna Youssef, Raul Midon, Edmar Castañeda and Grégoire Maret are just some of the luminaries highlighting the 10-day festival.

Chase recently announced that it’s expanding its branch network to the Greater Washington region, along with several new investments that will support economic growth in the area. The bank plans to open 70 new branches, including 20 percent in low to moderate income neighborhoods, and hire up to 700 new employees in Washington, DC, northern Virginia and Maryland. The firm is also increasing its philanthropic investment from $10 million to $25 million to help create opportunity for more area residents.
