NOMMO is jazz trio of young musicians ranging from age 14-17. They’ve been playing with one another consistently the past three years, but go as far back as 6 years. They are the future of DMV jazz. 
Asa Nero was born and raised in the D.C. area, he began gigging on drums and piano since early grade school. As a junior in high school, Asa continues to pursue music. He’s all over the DMV: playing keyboards at his church, playing drums for his third year in the Blues Alley Youth Orchestra, and playing piano and percussion in his school Jazz Band and Concert Band. 
Jeremiah Edwards is a 14 year old bassist, born in Detroit and DMV raised.He began playing upright bass at age 8 under the tutelage of Pepe Gonzalez. He is homeschooled, and currently plays bass for Blues Alley Youth Orchestra  and Jazz Academy Orchestra. He is also an electronica/house music producer and goes by the name Sirius B is the Future.  Hugh Downs is a 17 year old musician based in the Baltimore- Washington area. He is primarily a jazz guitarist, who is also a talent on the bass guitar. Hugh plays for Jazz Academy Orchestra, Blues Alley Youth Orchestra and he’s the lead guitarist for Instrumental Blvd, a local jazz fusion band. A student at Duke Ellington School of the Arts, he is a member of Ellington’s Classical Guitar Ensemble
