DC Jazz Festival Announces Performance Times for DC JazzFest at The Yards

WASHINGTON, D.C. - JUNE 14, 2017 - To conclude its widely popular 10-day festival, The DC Jazz Festival® (DC JazzFest) will return to the Capitol Riverfront at Yards Park June 16-18, for its highly anticipated outdoor showcase - Events DC Presents: DC JazzFest at the Yards. DC JazzFest at the Yards is one of many standout events put on by the DC Jazz Festival that epitomizes their recognition as the country's fastest growing jazz festival.

 

Aspiring to highlight jazz as an international language, DC JazzFest at The Yards will showcase performances by locally, nationally, and internationally acclaimed artists this Father's Day weekend. Robert Glasper Experiment, Gregory Porter, Jacob Collier, Lori Williams, and Black Violin are among the dynamic artists who will have the audience "discovering the unexpected," and singing along to the rhythm of jazz music. Festivalgoers can eat to the beat and shop 'til they drop at the JazzFest marketplace. DJ Lonnie C will spin favorite line dance songs and artist will stop by the "Meet the Artist" to greet fans and sign CDs.

 

Friday June 16 is free to the public, while Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18 are ticketed events.
